# Privacy and data deletion

Where to read PostDelegate's privacy policy and terms, what disconnecting a channel does, how credentials are stored and how to have your data deleted.

PostDelegate is operated by Nasida Apps LLC. These are the documents that govern the service.

| Document | Address |
| --- | --- |
| Privacy policy | [app.postdelegate.com/legal/privacy](https://app.postdelegate.com/legal/privacy) |
| Terms of service | [app.postdelegate.com/legal/terms](https://app.postdelegate.com/legal/terms) |

## Disconnecting a channel

You can remove a channel yourself. Open its menu on the calendar page and choose **Delete**. Delete its posts first, because a channel with posts cannot be removed.

- For networks where you paste a credential, removal clears the saved credential and the channel's saved details.
- For networks that use the network's own sign-in, removal also starts revoking the access you granted and cleaning up the saved data and analytics. For YouTube this revokes this Google account's permissions for PostDelegate's Google project, which also affects your other connected YouTube channels from the same account. While a Google Business Profile location from the same Google account is still connected, those permissions stay until it is removed too. Removing a Google Business Profile location asks Google to revoke access once no other location or YouTube channel uses the same Google account. Your videos stay on YouTube, and Business Profile posts stay on Google.
- Posts already published on a network stay there. Deleting a post in PostDelegate does not take it off the network.

You can also revoke access from the network's side, for example by deleting an app password. PostDelegate will then show the channel as needing a reconnect.

## Deleting your account and data

Workspaces shared with other people stay with their members. If you are the only owner of a workspace others use, make another member the owner first. See [Transfer ownership](https://postdelegate.com/docs/team.md#transfer-ownership).

To delete your account or ask what we hold about you, follow the instructions on the [data deletion page](https://app.postdelegate.com/legal/data-deletion), or email [support@postdelegate.com](mailto:support@postdelegate.com) from the address on your account. We may need to confirm that you own the account before acting. Never send passwords, API keys or tokens by email.

## Credentials and keys

- Credentials you paste when connecting a channel are encrypted before they are stored.
- Rotate your API key in **Settings > Agents / Dev** if you think it leaked. The old key stops working immediately.
- Revoke an AI assistant's access in **Settings > Apps > Approved Apps**.
