Mastodon is live on PostDelegatePlan it on one calendar with 17 other live networks.
How to schedule Mastodon Posts
- Sign in with Mastodon. On the calendar page choose Add Channel, then Mastodon. Sign in to your mastodon.social account and approve the permissions PostDelegate asks for: reading your profile, publishing posts and uploading media.
- Write the post. Choose Create Post and select the Mastodon channel. Write up to 500 characters and add up to four images or one video.
- Add a thread if you need one. Use Add post in a thread to add more entries. They are published as replies to the first post.
- Schedule it. Pick a date and time and choose Add to Calendar. Use Save as draft to hold it back, or Post now to publish right away.
What you can publish to Mastodon
A Mastodon post is up to 500 characters with up to four images or one video. PostDelegate keeps the text and media together with the planned post, publishes it as a public post at the time you pick, and turns extra entries into a thread of replies.
You connect through Mastodon's own sign-in, so PostDelegate never sees your password. PostDelegate connects accounts on mastodon.social. When a post has a video, PostDelegate waits until Mastodon has finished processing it before the post goes out. Put a video in the first post; replies don't wait for processing.

- Posts are published as public posts, limited to 500 characters with up to four images or one video.
Read the Mastodon guide in our documentation for connection steps, post settings and troubleshooting.
Plan Mastodon with the rest of your channels
Mastodon sits on the same calendar as every other channel you connect. In one post you can pick several channels, write the content once and adjust it for each, and every channel keeps its own settings. Save a draft to review a post first, choose Add to Calendar to schedule it, or choose Post now to send it immediately. The scheduling guide covers drafts, repeats, previews and time slots.
Use Claude or ChatGPT with Mastodon
PostDelegate runs an MCP server, so an assistant you already use can look at your Mastodon channel, read its rules and create a draft for you to review. AI is bring-your-own, and PostDelegate never charges for it. Setup guides: Claude, ChatGPT, and what a social media MCP server is.
Review the whole post
Check the destination, wording, media and time before scheduling. Look at the result in your workspace after publication; a queued item is not a published-post confirmation.
