WordPress is live on PostDelegatePlan it on one calendar with 17 other live networks.
How to schedule WordPress Blog Posts
- Create an application password. In WordPress open Users, Profile, Application Passwords and create one for a user who is allowed to create posts. Some hosts and security plugins turn application passwords off.
- Connect the site. On the calendar page choose Add Channel, then WordPress. Enter the full Domain URL such as https://example.com, the WordPress username and the application password, then save. PostDelegate calls your site's REST API to check the details.
- Write the post. Choose Create Post and select the WordPress channel. Enter a title of at least two characters, choose a post type and write the body as HTML, up to 100,000 characters.
- Choose status and schedule. Set Status to Publish, Draft, Pending or Private, add categories, tags and a main image, then pick a date and time and choose Add to Calendar.
What you can publish to WordPress
PostDelegate talks to your site through the WordPress REST API with an application password, a built-in WordPress feature. Your login password is never used. The post type, status, categories and tags are loaded from your own site, so you choose from what actually exists there.
The composer writes HTML, so the post arrives in WordPress as you formatted it. Put pictures inside the content where they should appear, using images from the media library. A separate main image is uploaded to your WordPress media library and used as the featured image.
- Connect with your site address, username and an application password.
- Write the post as HTML, with categories, tags and a main image.
- Choose the post type and status, such as Publish, Draft, Pending or Private.

Before connecting
- The site must be reachable from the internet with the REST API turned on, and the user needs a role that can create posts.
- A security plugin or server setting that blocks the REST API or strips the Authorization header makes WordPress reject the login.

Plan WordPress with the rest of your channels
WordPress sits on the same calendar as every other channel you connect. In one post you can pick several channels, write the content once and adjust it for each, and every channel keeps its own settings. Save a draft to review a post first, choose Add to Calendar to schedule it, or choose Post now to send it immediately. The scheduling guide covers drafts, repeats, previews and time slots.
Use Claude or ChatGPT with WordPress
PostDelegate runs an MCP server, so an assistant you already use can look at your WordPress channel, read its rules and create a draft for you to review. AI is bring-your-own, and PostDelegate never charges for it. Setup guides: Claude, ChatGPT, and what a social media MCP server is.
Review the whole post
Check the destination, wording, media and time before scheduling. Look at the result in your workspace after publication; a queued item is not a published-post confirmation.
